According to the article, while some nudist resort owners say they are cutting back because of the economic downturn, others are breaking even or expanding their budgets this year, making Nakations a top travel trend that isn’t hurting like many other travel venues. Five AANR-affiliated clubs are profiled in the feature, and a link was provided to AANR’s club pages.

Several clubs who were not mentioned directly nevertheless played a pivotal role in conveying the strength of the nude recreation market. The impressive growth of Lake Como Family Nudist Resort in Lutz, Florida; as well as Oaklake Trails in Oklahoma, home to AANR’s 2009 Convention; plus Desert Sun Resort in Palm Springs, California;and Abbott’s Glen in Vermont were all cited as evidence of what the industry has accomplished.
