Nudism is increasing in Europe and the United States during the current heatwave. A group called Naked Lincolnshire in the UK said its membership has almost tripled during this year’s summer heatwave. The heatwave has been great for naturism. People are
much more inclined to shed their clothes just to get more comfortable.
Most of us are fairly well experienced naturists, so we do tend to carry an extra bottle of sun screen, which we’re quite happy to share with those new to naturism. This the the hottest it’s been in Europe since 1984. The naturist community is very accepting so people with scars and poor self-esteem often say it helps them. Plus being outdoors, with the sun on you, generates Vitamin D. Just don’t over do it!
